Reconvened Emergency General Meeting

MEMBERS ONLY POST

** Public release of email sent to members on Wednesday 4th May 2022 **

We announced on 1st April 2022 that we were calling an Emergency General Meeting for Friday 29th April 2022 to discuss one item, the proposed change of structure from an Unincorporated Association to a Charitable Incorporated Organisation (CIO).

Unfortunately, during the meeting, we failed to achieve the required quorum of our membership to vote upon the motion, so we had to re-convene the meeting.

As per the Constitution we are providing the necessary 7 clear days to re-convene on Thursday 12th May at 12:30pm. If no quorum is present at the re-convened meeting within fifteen minutes of the time specified for the start of the meeting, the members present at that time shall constitute the quorum for that meeting.

In addition to the meeting, we are opening a poll for those that are unable to vote in person. The poll will open from 9:00am on the 12th May 2022, the poll will be closed/votes counted at 12:45pm and the majority decision passed.

The poll will be run via Slido and you will be able to access it through this link:

Please see the attached files with step by step instructions on how to ensure your vote on the poll is counted. We can only accept votes from named people on our database, no anonymous votes will be counted.
